Let's discuss GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES (1953) and Marilyn Monroe!

We're kicking on the new year with a fun and entertaining musical, and celebrating the 100th birthday of Marilyn Monroe.

Based on the bestselling novel by Anita Loos, which became both a popular Broadway play and musical, the film tells the story of "two little girls from Little Rock". Dorothy Shaw and Lorelei Lee are a cabaret duo; both are looking for love but one is distracted by diamonds. These determined women take us on an adventure-filled cruise to France that includes not just love, but a missing tiara, an all male Olympic team, a pink dress, and a visit to a Paris courtroom.

Directed by Howard Hawks, with Jane Russell as Dorothy and Marilyn Monroe as Lorelei, supported by Charles Coburn, Elliot Reid, Tommy Noonan, and George Winslow as the gentlemen.
