February - Careers in Tech + Saturday Coffee and Code

This month we will have our panel on Career Paths in Tech, where you will have the chance to meet some area technologists and find out how they ended up in their current career. From software engineering to data science to cyber security, there are many different paths in tech that you can take. You'll have the opportunity to meet professionals in the industry to learn more about how they started working in their current field, challenges that they face, and skills you'll need to know to work in their field. We will have a short Q & A at the end before breaking into what will be our monthly coffee & code sessions.

Coffee and Code is a monthly opportunity for you to work on your own projects, continue practicing what you've been learning, and meet others who share your interests. Bring your laptop, your recent projects, and your programming problems and questions. If you want to focus on helping others with their projects? You're welcome too!

Are you a first time attendees who just wants to socialize? That's fine, we're very friendly and would love to have you join us. :)

As a group, we’ll hold each other accountable for completing our projects, and provide ongoing support and feedback.
