Join us for a free hands-on workshop where you'll learn how to unlock the full potential of VS Code and GitHub Copilot and elevate your coding
experience. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced developer, this session will introduce you to AI-assisted development workflows, helping you write better code, faster.

đź’ˇ Get Started: Download VS Code and activate your free GitHub Copilot account for VS Code to be ready for all the hands-on exercises.
đź’» Bring your laptop! This interactive session requires your own device so you can practice new techniques in real time.

5:30 pm – Check-in & Networking Meet fellow developers and get ready for an exciting session.
6:00 pm – Welcome & Introduction Kick off the event with an overview of the activities.
6:10 pm – Session: Essential Techniques for GitHub Copilot in VS Code Master the fundamentals of GitHub and explore how to leverage this tool like a pro.
6:40 pm – Community speaker session: Tracy Lee, CEO at This Dot (details coming soon)
7:20 pm– Lab: Choose Your Own Copilot Adventure Get hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, discovering how to leverage AI for code completion, refactoring, and more.
8:20 – Closing & Next Steps Wrap up the session and leave time for networking.
