Background
We all carry a set of assumptions about what we owe the people in our lives — and what they owe us. We feel these obligations acutely when they’re violated: the friend who disappeared when things got hard, the parent whose expectations felt like a debt we never agreed to, the apology we never gave and can’t quite explain why.
But many of us have never sat down and actually thought through where these obligations come from, how far they extend, or whether they’re proportional to anything. We inherited them, absorbed them, and acted on them without scrutiny.
This session is an invitation to scrutinise them.
