Roots and Wings

This session is an invitation to reflect and share our experiences on parenting:
What raising another person has asked of us, what it has shown us about ourselves, and what we most want to give to the people who will carry something of us forward.

We'll discuss questions such as the following:

• Think of something your parents gave you that you didn't recognise as a gift until much later. What was it?
• What do you most want to pass down to your children?
• What have you learned from parenting and what do you regret? (or what do you hope to learn and not regret?)
• How are you as a parent compared to your parents? (or how do you hope to be different?)

(This session is open to everyone and you do not have to be a parent, but please be prepared to share your perspective openly.)

This is a small group and every seat matters. If something comes up, a heads up as early as you can manage is always appreciated.
