"6 Baubles: Christmas Traditions Around the World"

Following on from our 3x20' event in June, we’ve gathered six speakers to reflect on what Christmas means to them and their cultures.

10 minutes each to start the Christmas season in style!

We’ll be covering the Guadalupe-Reyes Marathon for Christmas in Mexico, Plygain and Clennig from Welsh Medieval history, Hungarian Christmas that starts on the 6th (great timing!), forgotten British traditions such as Shoeing the Mare and having a Smoking Bishop, an examination of Scottish history and celebrations from the 16th Century onwards, and finishing up with some games!
