Beginner Lapidary Class at Reforge Charleston
Unlock the secrets of gemstone crafting in our Beginner Lapidary Class, designed for ages 12 and older. This 2.5-hour immersive experience provides the essential tools and knowledge to shape and polish gems.
Choose from obsidian, sodalite or pink rose quartz samples and let your creativity flow – opt for a free-form creation or stencil a specific shape for a wearable cabochon or a small palm stone. Explore every stage of the lapidary process, guided by experts, and witness your creation evolve into a polished masterpiece.
For those crafting cabochons, add a personal touch by fastening a stainless pendant bail for a stylish necklace with adjustable leather cord and clasp (provided).
Dress down for this class (you may get a little wet and dirty). Good shoes are not recommended. Aprons, masks and safety goggles are provided.
