Refuge Recovery Thursdays
• What we'll do: Our meetings typically consist of a 15-20 minute meditation and reading from the text Refuge Recovery, followed by a discussion on what we read or meditated on. • What to bring: If you have one, bring your Refuge Recovery book, we may read from it. If you do not have a Refuge Recovery book, we typically sell them at cost or you can purchase one from an online or local book store. We also have books available to borrow during the meeting. • Important to know: Refuge Recovery is a Buddhist inspired path to recovery from addiction. Refuge Recovery meetings are meant to be inclusive of all addictions. All definitions of addiction are welcome in our program. From our core principles: Our core principles are mindfulness, compassion, forgiveness, and generosity. We commit to being open and accessible to all who seek refuge.
