About us
Welcome to Regina Neurodiversity Community — a peer-led social community that celebrates neurodiversity and gives neurodivergent adults a place to connect, build friendships, feel less isolated, and spend time with people who understand that our brains and experiences may work a little differently.
This community is for neurodivergent adults. You do not need a formal diagnosis to belong here — self-identified, questioning, late-identified, and people currently pursuing assessment are welcome.
Our goal is simple: Connect. Belong. Grow.
Meetups will be relaxed and low-pressure, with opportunities for conversation, shared interests, activities, coffee/tea, walks, games, and simply spending time together. You don't have to be outgoing, make constant conversation, make eye contact, or mask who you are in order to participate.
We are proudly LGBTQIA2S+ affirming and welcome people of all genders, sexual orientations, backgrounds, abilities, and lived experiences.
This is a private Meetup community to help protect the privacy and comfort of our members. Some people may be newly exploring neurodivergence, awaiting assessment, or simply prefer to keep their participation private. Membership requests are reviewed so that members can connect and participate with greater confidence that the space remains aligned with the purpose and values of the community.
This is a peer community, not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment. We ask community members to respect one another's boundaries, communication styles, sensory needs, identities, and privacy.
Whether you're looking for friendship, community, people who understand, or simply somewhere you can feel a little less alone, you're welcome here.
Come as you are - no masking required. 💛
