WELCOME TO REGINA NEURODIVERSITY COMMUNITY 💛

Regina Neurodiversity Community (RNDC) is a free, independent, peer-led social community for neurodivergent adults in Regina.
We celebrate neurodiversity and create opportunities to connect, find companionship, share interests, and spend time with people who understand that our brains and experiences may work a little differently.

Our purpose is simple: Connect. Belong. Grow.

WHO WE WELCOME
This community is for neurodivergent adults (18+).
You do not need a formal diagnosis to belong here. Self-identified, questioning, late-identified people, and those currently pursuing assessment are welcome.
We are proudly LGBTQIA2S+ affirming and welcome people of all genders, sexual orientations, backgrounds, abilities, and lived experiences.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Meetups are relaxed and low-pressure, with opportunities for:

• Conversation and shared interests
• Coffee, tea, and casual gatherings
• Walks, games, and activities
• Simply spending time together

You don't have to be outgoing, make constant conversation, make eye contact, or mask who you are to participate.
There is no expectation to attend every gathering, share a diagnosis or personal history, or participate beyond your comfort level.
Some connections may become friendships. Others may simply be familiar faces, shared activities, conversation, or quiet company. There is no required social outcome.

Simply come as you are.

OUR COMMUNITY, OUR PRINCIPLES
RNDC exists solely to foster genuine social connection, companionship, and a sense of belonging.
We are an independent social community, not a professional service provider. We do not offer therapy, counselling, coaching, assessments, medical treatment, or other professional services.
RNDC is not operated by or acting on behalf of government, a business or professional service provider. Our community is not a platform for solicitation, recruitment, commercial promotion, or generating business opportunities.
Membership is free, and there are no services to purchase to belong.
We come together simply to connect, share experiences, and enjoy one another's company.

People and community first.

PRIVACY, RESPECT & BELONGING
RNDC is a private Meetup community to help protect the privacy and comfort of our members.
Some people may be newly exploring neurodivergence, awaiting assessment, or simply prefer to keep their participation private. Membership requests are reviewed to help keep the community aligned with its purpose and principles.

We ask everyone to respect one another's:

• Personal boundaries and autonomy
• Communication styles and sensory needs
• Identities and lived experiences
• Privacy and confidentiality

A private group can help limit visibility, but it cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality. Please respect members' choices about what they share and do not disclose another member's participation or personal information without permission.

Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where people can connect authentically, without pressure to conform or expectations to be anything other than themselves.
Whether you're looking for companionship, community, people who understand, or simply somewhere you can feel a little less alone, you're welcome here.
