What we’re about
We meet in the Lighthouse Pub, Battersea to play regional chess from around the world!
You don't have to know the rules: come along, we will find you a partner and get it going!
For now we are focusing on Chinese/Vietnamese chess (象棋, xiàngqí, siang ch'i, cờ tướng): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xiangqi.
In time we hope to branch out to other kinds of chess and also chess variations (e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fischer_random_chess).
IF you have your own chess set (and are willing to teach us the rules), bring it along: we would love to hear from you!
