Brae Island Planting Event

Join us for our Brae Island planting event next Sunday, November 16th from 11:00am - 2:00pm! We will be planting native species on Brae Island to add biodiversity and stability to the soil and understory of the forest near the campsite. This will also help prevent invasive species from establishing in this area. Come on out to help the environment, get some fresh air, and meet like-minded people!

We will be meeting at the day use parking lot of Brae Island. Please try to arrive 10 minutes early to check in. We will then walk over to the site together at 11:00am. All necessary tools and equipment will be provided and please wear closed toe shoes and dress in the appropriate layers for the weather, as this event is rain or shine. Bring a reusable water bottle and any snacks that you might like for the duration of the event.
