RegTech Session 1: The Innovation Journey

The unprecedented rise of Fintech has introduced significant challenges with regulation and compliance. Regtech introduces a new era for regulation and compliance with huge potential to facilitate the supervisory process and enhance regulatory compliance.

This is first meetup will include introductions and aims to discuss the current views and understanding of Regtech. Current and future landscape/trends will be discussed. We will then focus on innovation vs data security. A theme which is increasingly important, with the increased focus of privacy regulation within the GCC, and the upcoming UAE privacy law
