Meet Rebecca Hall GAICD who is an experienced executive in trade, investment and education engagement.
For more than 25 years she’s created a career leading strategy, innovation and program delivery across government, not-for-profits, and education settings.
Rebecca has recently completed her 3-year term as Commissioner for Victoria to Southeast Asia. This role led trade, investment, education and innovation engagement across Southeast Asia, where she worked with hundreds of exporters and investors. Prior to this she was Austrade’s inaugural Head of International Education and led the redevelopment of the Study Australia brand and the Study Australia Partnership, a refreshed approach working across states and territories to better promote international education.
Rebecca is an experienced board member, holding a range of board roles with International Education Association of Australia (IEAA), Queensland Overseas Foundation, AFS Intercultural Programs and Australian Institute of International Affairs (QLD).
Rebecca’s leadership and innovation have also been recognised though her selection as an Endeavour Awards Executive Fellow (2016) and IEAA Leadership Award (2017) and IEAA Senior Fellow (2021).
Rebecca will share her recent experiences with a focus on Asia Pacific and the role that talent and technology are playing in the transformation of industry and the education and skills.
