What we're about

Reinventing Work: Bath meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month to share, learn and practice new ways of working. Also to share snacks and a beer or soft drink. Our purpose (written in pencil) is to make Bath a better place to work. We aim to do this by helping you to learn and experiment with the practices used by other organisations who have moved away from the traditional ways of working that most of us are used to.

Here's an introductory article with more detail on Reinventing Work: Bristol, Bath and the global movement that has evolved from it

- Are you wondering if this meet-up is for you?

Reinventing Work: Bath is aimed at people in organisations that are interested in the future of work, self-organising teams, self-management, emergent hierarchies, participatory change, decentralised leadership, distributed authority, collaboration, new ways of working and organisation design. If you’ve heard of 'Brave New Work' by Aaron Dignan, Frederic Laloux’s book ‘Reinventing Organisations’, the Corporate Rebels blog, or the Leadermorphosis podcast, then this is definitely for you! Have a read/listen/browse and if the ideas sound like fun then you’ll fit right in. We want this group to be inclusive, so we do encourage people who are curious about self-management to come along. We also want it to be for organisations who are on, or about to begin, their self-management journey.
