What we’re about
Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche in Washington DC, May 29-30 Rinpoche’s teachings on emotions complement Western psychology and are easily understood by Western practitioners. This program is open to everyone. Instead of stopping or indulging in strong emotions like anger, anxiety, or fear, we can explore them, giving ourselves time to feel their texture and observe our experience, as it is, and recognize that their basic nature is wisdom. In this program, Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche will share his unique insights into emotions and will teach a step-by-step process for working more skillfully with them. By learning to do this, we can connect with their creative source to experience a new level of relaxed openness, freshness, even a sense of clarity and joy, that we can then very naturally begin to share with others. There will be an interactive workshop Saturday afternoon to explore practical perspectives and methods for putting these teachings into everyday life, whether of a business or personal nature.
