When Anger Fills the Room
Details
When someone’s anger rises, something in you changes.
Have you ever felt your body shift the moment a voice rises? Your chest tightens. Your thoughts scatter. You measure your words more carefully. Maybe you go quiet. Maybe you rush to smooth things over. Maybe you brace for what’s coming next.
Maybe you fight back.
This Session looks at how raised voices and escalating frustration impact us internally.
Not because conflict is inherently wrong, but because repeated intensity can quietly train your nervous system to shrink, adapt, or stay on alert. Over time, you may start organizing yourself around avoiding the next eruption.
Together, we’ll discuss prompts like:
- What happens inside you when anger escalates?
- Do you feel safe expressing yourself once the tone changes?
- Have you normalized something that your body still reacts to?
