About us
This group is for anyone who enjoys sketching and wants a low-pressure way to spend a few hours on the weekend. Whether you are an experienced artist looking to keep up a habit or someone who hasn't picked up a pencil since school, you are welcome here. We meet up at various cafes, parks, and quiet corners of the city to draw, chat, and enjoy the company of other creatives without any formal instruction or critique.
The goal is simply to show up, find a comfortable spot, and get some marks on paper. There is no right or wrong way to do it, and you are free to bring whatever supplies you prefer. We usually spend the first few minutes getting settled before everyone dives into their own work, and we try to wrap up by sharing what we sketched over a coffee or a snack. It is a casual, friendly space to unplug for a while and share a relaxing hobby with others in the neighborhood.
