What is this event about?
An opportunity for those who wish to learn about Islam, ask complicated questions they have been meaning to ask, understand the Muslim way/history/beliefs, or to help unpack misinformation.

The Imam will also have questions and topics prepared to help direct the session.

Who is the Imam ?
Labeed Ahmed is a Scholar of Religions, with a degree in Theology spaning seven years in a Jamia Canada Theological Seminary and two years in York University. He is Chair of the Education Committee of the Manitoba Multifaith Council, regularly organizing Interfaith leadership meetings, Interfaith symposiums, educational sessions with faith communities, interviews with religious scholars and leaders, and in encouraging dialogue that increases our understanding of our shared human history and combats misinformation and hate based information. Labeed is also a Chaplin on Manitoba's Justice and Corrections board and a Religious leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Winnipeg.
