You've heard the acronym, well here we are! :) If you came here from the north and want to meet new people this group is for you, whether you moved to Cary recently or have been here a while.
It's not always easy to make friends when you move to a new place. This group will give you a way to connect with others who already have some things in common with you.
Sure, we're all proud of where we're from, but we all came here for similar reasons, so let's get together and have a good time experiencing the Cary area while making some new friends in the process.
Most events will be centered around the local bar / restaurant scene -- happy hours, weekend nights out, Sunday football, etc. Any excuse to get together and have a few drinks and maybe some food too! We may also do some outdoor activities and maybe even some family-friendly events.
This group is targeted to men and women in the 25-45 age range.
It doesn't matter if you're single, married, or "it's complicated", as long as you want to hang out with some cool people. Feel free to bring a friend or significant other.
Meetups will be mostly within Cary but may extend to the surrounding areas as well.
You don't necessarily have to be from Cary, you can be from surrounding towns such as Apex, Holly Springs, Raleigh, Morrisville, etc, as long as you are ok coming to Cary for the meetups.
And you don't necessarily need to be from the north, either. As long as you don't mind hanging out with a bunch of "Yankees", we'd love to have some drinks with you. But if you are from the New England / the Northeast states such as New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, or Maine you'll feel right at home.
This is a social group so leave your business cards at home...you'll only need to bring your fun, friendly attitude and a bit of a sense of humor. :)
