Emotionally Healthy Spirituality by Pete Scazzero addresses a critical gap in traditional discipleship: the reality that it is impossible to be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. By shining a light on hidden emotional wounds, unhealthy relational patterns, and superficial spiritual practices, our book study will guide us to look beneath the surface of our lives so that our relationship with God can bring about authentic, structural inner change.

Over the course of several weeks, we'll break down the barriers of past generational behaviors, learn how to navigate painful crises or "walls," and see how to biblically process grief and loss.

When: 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 10
Where: Panera Bread in Vernon Hills
