Remix Meetup August

Come join us at the H-E-B Digital & Favor Eastside Tech Hub for our August Remix Meetup! Food and drinks will be provided 🍱 🥤. There will be an online option as well 💻—the Zoom link will be available to those who RSVP.

The Zoom itself won't kick off until ~6:30 CST, when the talks starts

Loading Data with loader functions - Paul Bratslavsky
Paul is a streamer who helps others switch careers in to web dev later in life through codingafterthirty. He's going to warm us up with a ⚡️ talk on a Remix fundamental.

Texting from Remix with Twilio – TC Schiller (she/her)
TC will walk you through her personal web site, which features a unique chat feature by way of Twilio. Viewers can even participate and chat live with her! Other technologies that will be explored include Prisma, Tailwind, and Netlify.

Venue Instructions

You are welcome to park in the guest spaces on the West side of the building or in our back lot. Please enter the building through the front (on E 6th) in order to check in with Security. You will need to sign your name on a sign-in sheet on arrival. We will be cross checking your name with the Meetup RSVP list, so please RSVP if you are coming.

The meetup will be in a room called the Arsenal. It's a large room down the hall to the right. The property manager has asked us to stay in the Arsenal unless using the restrooms 🙂
