Talk: Forgetting React Query

In most applications, managing API state is a very important but very tedious task. At least it was until the addition of API caching libraries like React Query and SWR. While those libraries are great in basic react applications, Remix ships all of the tools you need to accomplish the same behavior out of the box, making your code cleaner, and decreasing your bundle size.

Food and drinks will be provided 🍱🥤. There will be an online option as well 💻—the Zoom link will be available to those who RSVP.

Venue Instructions

You are welcome to park in the guest spaces on the West side of the building or in our back lot. Please enter the building through the front (on E 6th) in order to check in with Security. You will need to sign your name on a sign-in sheet on arrival. We will be cross checking your name with the Meetup RSVP list, so please RSVP if you are coming.

The meetup will be in a room called the Arsenal. It's a large room down the hall to the right. The property manager has asked us to stay in the Arsenal unless using the restrooms 🙂
