Remix Rodeo 🤠

We're back with another Remix Rodeo! If you don't know what this is it's basically a mini hackathon.

Project Starter

Instead of listening to one person talk about tech, we’re going to break out into small groups to plan and build something together in the short time we have.

Never used Remix/React Router, or nervous to code in front of others? Don't worry! There will be plenty of mob programming and opportunities to learn, so everyone can engage no matter your comfort-level.

At the end of the night everyone will get a chance to share what they built so we can all learn from each other.

7:00-7:15p: Eat food & socialize
7:15-7:45p: Make teams, plan your project
7:45-8:45p: Build all the things!

Food and drinks will be provided 🍱🥤.

Note: There will be no online option for this month's meetup.

Venue Instructions

You are welcome to park in the guest spaces on the West side of the building or in the back lot. Please enter the building through the front (on E 6th) in order to check in with Security. You will need to sign your name on a sign-in sheet on arrival. We will be cross checking your name with the Meetup RSVP list, so please RSVP if you are coming.

The meetup will be in the Town Hall immediately to your left. Please refrain from going into any other rooms other than restrooms. H-E-B and Favor are kind enough to host us in this space, and we want to avoid doing anything that would violate their trust and prevent us from meeting in the future 🙂
