Accessibility Matters: Why Every Web Developer Should Prioritize Accessibility by Wayne Jones

When building user interfaces, web developers should prioritize accessibility. While it's not an exhaustive list of all the things, this talk will cover common web accessibility mistakes, best practices, and how accessibility can fit within your coding workflow.

Wayne Jones is a web developer born and raised in New York. He has a background working as a full-stack developer building websites with JavaScript and React. When he's not coding, he volunteers and organizes events for CreatorsNYC, a content creator/photographer meetup, as well as NYC Gaymers, a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to creating safer spaces for the LGBTQ+ community.
