Donner Lake Swim August 8th

So once again the Donner Lake Swim will be August 8th and starts very early. They are always looking for safety boaters to follow the swimmers and do safety if needed. So you are asked to show up at the east end of the lake at about 6:30 to drop off your boat and gear at the gate then find parking nearby. There will be a safety meeting before the race starts so get there early. There is a free lunch and drinks where the swim finishes at the west end. So if you wish to volunteer please contact:
JConkey@nevadavisiongroup.com Most all paddle craft are great for the safety. Kayaks, canoes, SUPs and more. So Donner Lake is a great place to paddle and after the race you can stay there for free or go see whatever else the Truckee Tahoe area has to offer.
BIG TIP do not be in front of the swimmers when the race starts!!
