Tahoe Rim Trail: Rose Meadow

Discover this 5.8 mile, with 459 elevation gain, out-n-back trail near Incline Village, Nevada. General considered a moderately challenging route. This is a popular trail for hiking, mountain biking and running, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

For those of you who might be interested in car pooling up to the meadows, we'll meet at 8:30 ( leave shortly afterwards) between the Starbucks and the Shell station in the Raley's shopping center on the Mt Rose Hwy (Cross street is Wedge Parkway). If you are not interested in carpooling, show up at the Starbucks and we can caravan up the hill.

We’ll meet at the Chickadee Ridge Trail head.

Bring water and something to snack.

Dogs need to be on a leash and picked up after. If the dog can demonstrate that it is under total voice control of the owner, then the leash can be removed at the discretion of the trip Organizer.
