Truckee River Legacy Trail Loop

The Truckee River Legacy Trail is a scenic commuter path that follows the Truckee River through town. This is a section of the paved path, starting from the Truckee Bike Park. The route (which is 5.1 miles) heads north, taking a singletrack trail east, adjacent to the river, for three and a half miles. It loops back on the Legacy Trail.

For those of you who might be interested in car pooling up to the trailhead, we'll meet at 7:15 in between the IHOP and Instant Smog on North McCarran Blvd (take Sierra Highlands Dr) . If you are not interested in carpooling, show up at the IHOP and we can caravan to the trailhead.
Bring water and something for lunch.
Dogs need to be on a leash and picked up after. If the dog can demonstrate that it is under total voice control of the owner, then the leash can be removed at the discretion of the trip Organizer.
