Upper Thomas Creek Out N Back Hike

Upper Thomas Creek is a out-and-back trail near Reno, Nevada. We will be doing just under 6 miles on this hike. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 3 hours to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring.

We will meet just off of North Timberline Drive on National Forest Development Road 049 (BY THE CREEK). See map for directions:

Bring water and something to snack on.

Dogs need to be on a leash and picked up after. If the dog can demonstrate that it is under total voice control of the owner, then the leash can be removed at the discretion of the trip Organizer.
