Spooner Summit to Snow Valley Peak

This hike is NOT easy, and NOT for beginners. Please assess your level of fitness before you RSVP.
12 miles hike, 2260ft elevation gain.
This is a stunning section of the Tahoe Rim Trail that leads to Snow Valley Peak. Incredible views of Tahoe, can see Reno, Carson, Genoa from the peak.
Could be snow at the top, please bring CRAMPONS

We will meet at 8-10 am between Starbucks at 18250 Wedge Pkwy and gas station for carpooling.

We will start the hike at 8-50 am
Because of changeable weather.. please dress appropriately and in layers. Do not forget to bring water, food, hiking poles, stable boots, gloves.
Please check status of the hike if rain, wind... it could be canceled or rescheduled.
