We're excited to have Kalie Work, our Washoe County Recorder as our guest speaker in August. You won't want to miss it.
Bio:
Kalie Work serves as the Washoe County Recorder, where she advocates for the use of technology to make local government more efficient, secure, and user-friendly. A proud Nevada native, Kalie graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno earning her bachelor's degree in speech communication. She then attended Harvard University where she earned her master's degree in business management with a focus on innovation and sustainability. Before becoming an elected official, Kalie worked in the private sector where she led teams in operations and finance compliance at Microsoft.
Kalie lives in Reno with her husband Mathew and their daughter. She is a proud Wolf Pack sports fan, a dog lover, and a supporter of several community non-profits. Kalie is a member of the National Association of Counties and the International Association of Government Officials.

We are looking for some speaker ideas or topics. You are welcome to submit those ideas so that we may engage this group in interesting, educational topics. I'm looking forward to seeing you all!
