This trail is great in the summer months as a tour of a few of Donner area's best swimming
holes (minus Lake Angela, where swimming is not permitted). During the winter months, this area is part of the Donner Summit sno-park.
Many adventurers continue with snowshoes to the lakes for a winter adventure. The trail to
Lake Angela can be easy to miss. It is a good idea to download your map ahead of time and keep your eye on the trail when you are nearing the lake.

Please note that we will not know the weather so dress and layers and bring the appropriate equipment and nourishment especially water and sunblock.
Every Meet Up group moves at a different pace so the end time is unknown
