Lets picnic, then hit the beach at beautiful Kings Beach State Recreation Area,

First, get optional take-out from adjacent Jason's Beachside Grille (8338 No. Lake Blvd.)--they have a great take-out menu)...and super fun drinks and beers while you pick up your order ( or elsewhere nearby--Whitecaps pizza to the west side (8290 No. Lake Blvd) is also good) (OR--BYOFood).

Then we'll head out the back door to the picnic area of the park on the Lake Tahoe Shore. Bring blankets to sit on in case the tables are busy...:-)

After lunch, it's time to stretch out on all that beautiful sand. Beach towels and/or beach chairs.
