Our first-ever day/eve trip "down South", first cocktails at Piazza wine bar

A true day/eve trip suggested by one of our new and nice members and helping me curate.
First, cocktails at the new charming wines, bevs and bites Piazza Bar in central Carson. (I chose our usual monthly pre-dinner cocktails to be in Carson, rather than South Reno, as a drive-break to our dinner spot beyond.) (Posted separately).

The kernel of an idea that became Piazza was inspired by our travels in Italy and Spain, where we love to join the locals in the evenings to stroll in the piazza, and to stop at the neighborhood bar to relax with a Spritz or a good glass of wine.

We returned home with a vision: to create a similar experience in Carson City’s own Plaza, with good wines, great cocktails, stellar service, and food options worth getting excited about. Naturally, as soon as we unpacked we called the best restaurateur we know, our good friend Charlie Abowd for his expertise and advice. With Charlie onboard as consultant we got to work. The result is Piazza!
