Sierra Arts Foundation has a monthly open reception for rotating exhibits, to meet the relevant artists, at their Riverside building on Virginia St downtown. Beer and wine usually available. Reception runs 1-330pm, come whenever you wish. I'll hope to be there 1-2.

APRIL GRAVITZ
From tiny saplings to towering monuments, trees tell a story of their place in the world. In “A Year of Trees” I explore the architecture of these stories, focusing on the structural energy of the forest and stripping trees down to their most essential, rhythmic form.
JOANNE MORRISON EHLY
These works are a part of a collection of 55 pieces created and/or revised in the last 10 years. The media is handmade paper distinguishing it from the uniformity of commercially produced sheets for the purposes of printing, drawing, packaging all the way to daily home activities.
