Chickadee Ridge - Snowshoe

Please join us for our traditional start of RTA's winter events with a visit to the uber popular Chickadee Ridge. Come enjoy the panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Crest while communing with our local Chickadee's. This relatively easy snowshoe trek of about 2.75 miles round trip and 400' of gain is a great intro to snowshoeing and amply rewards the hiker for their efforts. Hopefully, the Chickadee's will be awaiting our arrival, as they usually are!

• What to bring
Snowshoes & ski poles, dress for winter conditions. Water, a snack and something for the Chickadee's!
