Chickadee Ridge - Snowshoe

This is RTA's repeat visit to the uber popular Chickadee Ridge. If you missed this event last December, you get another chance to join us as we check out the panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Crest while communing with the local chickadees. This relatively easy snowshoe trek of about 2.5 miles round trip and 400' of gain is a great intro to snowshoeing and amply rewards the hiker for their efforts.

• What to bring
Snowshoes & ski poles, dress for winter conditions. Water, a snack and something for the chickadees!
