Coffee House Ride - Coffeebar Roastery @ Midtown

Details

About 12 miles C rating
9:00 AM
Start: Plumas Street Park/Gym
Ride Leader: Tim Sullivan

DESCRIPTION: The Coffee House Ride's destination this week is a new midtown spot for many of us. Hidden away in an alley between Virginia and Haskell is the Coffeebar Roastery. This is where they do their magic with the beans for here and their other two locations. Not quite the food and goodies selection of their larger places, but it certainly offers a great olfactory experience, and you know that the beans are freshly-roasted. PLEASE NOTE WHERE WE WILL BE MEETING - IT"S NOT HERE! We will gather up and depart from the old gym at Plumas Street Park (corner of Plumas & Monroe), then enjoy some of the recently redone neighborhood streets. A cruise around the golf course and up towards the top of Hunter Lake before an easy cruise through historic old Reno 'hoods before ending up at the Roastery.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Coffee House rides are intended to be a fairly easy, not-too-far, social ride. Difficulty varies from C to D. The purpose is not to train for a race but to have a good time and enjoy expresso and pastries when we're done. Occasionally we will do a breakfast ride. When that is scheduled, you must (A) be a club member, and (B) RSVP by the deadline.

NOTES: Check posting 2 hours before ride time for weather-related and other changes. Helmets are required and bikes should be in good working order. Please no ear buds or headphones. Be prepared with a spare tube and pump. Class 2 E-Bikes are not allowed.
Ride starting locations and start times vary, but details will be published on Meetup the weekend before the ride.
Please RSVP only if you ARE attending, DO NOT RSVP if you are not attending.
Helmets are required and bikes should be in good working order.
