Veterans and the Erica Greif Bike Trail

This is a D+/C- ride that starts at RC Willey's and rolls up a bit of Veterans and a lot more of the Erica Greif Bikeway.

We emerge from the Willey's parking lot and turn down Veterans to the corner with Steamboat Parkway. We will use the walk light to cross to the East side and then roll up a bit of Veterans to join the Bikeway. We continue up the bikeway to cross Mira Loma and Pembroke and continue to near Greg Street where we turn sharp left down the hill to continue along the Truckee River for 3.6 miles to Rock Park. This is a convenient place to take a break eat a power bar and rehydrate. (there are shaded picnic tables here). We then return the 11.5 miles to RC Willey's.

NOTE: Check posting 2 hours before ride time for weather-related and other changes. Helmets are required and bikes should be in good working order. Please no ear buds or headphones. Be prepared with a spare tube and pump. Class 2 E-Bikes are not permitted.
