Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 9:30 AM
.

Every year the Club supports the annual Tahoe-Pyramid Trail fundraiser, the Cookie Ride. We will do our usual Verdi routes but with rest stop at Crystal Peak Park for the event. There will be
an array of tastee cookies at the park. If you would like to donate a dozen (or more) cookies, an email will be sent with instructions. You may also donate toward TPT trail maintenance. Cookies will be served between 10 AM to 11:30 AM.

STARTING LOCATION: Park or cycle to the parking area of Pola Poke on the corner of West McCarran and Plumb. Note the Pola Poke has changed name and has a different menu but has the same management. The new name does not seem to be recognized by meetup.

RIDES: This is a social ride for all levels. At least two cycling groups will form (D+ to C and C+/B levels). Ride leaders will be announced at the event.

Jerry and Janet Volunteer to lead a casual C no drop ride. It usually takes the basic route shown below. This route is shorter with less elevation gain then the C+/B route. If you are a less experienced rider or are unfamiliar with the route, please review the route sheet below and bring a copy with you on the ride.

**C/C- Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/55107537**
Rating: C-/C: 19.2 miles, 1007 feet of elevation gain

C+/B Route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/32823837
26.6 miles/1331 feet elevation gain, Optional Addition to Subdivision

ROUTE SHEETS: Because there are so many Verdi loop options, we do not provide route sheets. However, you can click on the Route sheet/map, to see the basic route. There you may print a route cue sheet by clicking on "More" and then "Print Cue Sheet."

NOTE: Ride goes if the pavement is dry. Helmets are required and bikes should be in good working order. Please no ear buds or headphones. Be prepared with a spare tube and pump. Class 2 E-Bikes are not permitted.
