This Ride can be considered a death ride training Ride as it hits 3 hills that are on the Alta Alpina Ride and in the past have been on some versions of the Death Ride

We begin this ride at the beginning of Blue Lakes Road off of Hwy 88.
This is up Hwy 88 past Woodfords. There is room to park along the road near the intersection of Hwy 88 and Blue lakes along Blue Lakes Rd.

This ride begins by sauntering down Hwy 88 on the side and climbing Luther Pass at elevation of ~7700 feet and then descending and climbing up Carson Pass. We then head back down to Blue Lakes road and ride the 11 miles out to the Blue lakes and back
