Coffee House Rides - Lighthouse Coffee, Reno Town Mall
Details
About 19 miles C rating
8:00 AM
Start: Reno Town Mall
Ride Leader: Tim Sullivan
DESCRIPTION: The Coffee House Ride this Wednesday is from Lighthouse Coffee. Tucked away in a corner between the Mall and Burlington, they have a nice outside patio for after the ride. For those who have been doing these rides for a while, the location started out as Aroma Club (remember the Russian ladies?), then became a Hub Coffee place when the gals retired from the cafe business. Hub didn't last long, neither did a sandwich shop, and Lighthouse is the latest to occupy this interesting corner! We will meet and start in front of Reno Town Mall for a pretty flat 19-mile tour around south Reno. Still predicted to be pretty warm, so we'll continue with the early starts.

IDE SERIES DESCRIPTION: The Pedaler Coffee House Rides are designed for those who want a relatively easy, social ride, with the main goal of hanging out for good pastry and espresso after the ride. Most would be rated C/C-. We will depart from a different coffee house or bakery each time. When it warms up and we can start early, we will do breakfast rides (open to real members only, and subject to sign-up deadlines!).
E-BIKE NOTE: The ride leader is unable to handle e-bike mechanical issues (battery failure, flat tires, etc). Please have a backup plan for these events. Class 2 e-bikes are not permitted as they are not covered by club insurance.
RIDE SWEEP: Most of these rides will NOT have an official "sweeper." The ride leader will aim to regroup at certain points. We do not want to lose anyone; however, please note the ride levels (C).
