The annual Moke Races will be held on the Electra Run near Jackson California with Course set up on Friday, practice and a downriver race on Saturday and slalom races on Sunday. You must preregister before the races at the Moke Races Website. Fun race course that is challenging and also if it is like previous years there will be dinner/ raffle on Saturday evening. There is NO Camping in the canyon.

The Mokelumne River is just south of Jackson Calif on Highway 49.

Always a fun time be prepared for bad weather.

So in recent contact It was confirmed that there is now Roll Sessions in Carson City at their Community Pool at 841 North Roop Street. They are on Monday nights from 6:30 till 8Pm and will be weekly except holidays. I do not know what cost is and if I find out I will pass that on. More info can be had by contacting Mike Freeman at 775-283-7351. All types of boats are welcome. Space is limited. Boats MUST BE CLEANED with supplied hoses before use in the pool and after if you wish. Please be careful not to damage the pool with boats. Hopefully some one might step up to assist folks with learning rolls and I did for 21 years.

There still is Roll Sessions in Truckee on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Please call their Community Pool of directions and hours. Boats must also be clean there as well. Cost is unknown. All boat types are welcome.

My efforts to get Roll Sessions again here in Reno have failed.

The above Roll Sessions will be weekly except for holidays. This will be good year to hone or learn your roll because waters will high from now till the end of runoff.

There will be a Roll Session at Northwest Pool on Oct 8th at 6pm. Cost is $10. Boat must be clean.

Yet another chance to practice Rolling indoors on the 8th of October at 6pm. Boats MUST BE CLEAN! $5.
