Arlington Street Bridges completion and Grand Opening June 8th 11am.

So Granite Construction has nearly finished the Arlington Street Bridges Project at Wingfield Park and Barbara Bennett Park. There will be a Grand Opening event on June 11th at 11am. So we may actually have our park back soon!!!......... Well almost the park will be officially useable by river lovers and users on the 9th of June. Then you can wander around and check out the new digs and actually carry you boats to you cars with out walking blocks of sidewalks.

So next up is Sierra Street Bridge and the we will lose that wonderful concrete and bocks take out on the Southwest side of the Sierra Street Bridge. Get ready for a real hassle place to take out! The new park is looking GOOD But there are a few issues with the New # 2 feature on the North Side and the #3 hole. At least we can still paddle our WW Park.
