Ranked Cookie Voting: A Community Forum for Ranked Choice Voting in Chula Vista

The More Chula Chula Vista coalition is excited to announce a community outreach event at Memorial Park in Chula Vista.
We know that polling shows that voters who have a positive first introduction to ranked choice voting (RCV) are more likely to support the policy. With that in mind, our coalition is focused on spreading awareness about the benefits of more choice in our elections through ranked choice voting. The event will include guest speakers, "candidates" campaigning for your vote for best cookie, a cookie-election to determine the winner as well as food and music.
If you're already a supporter, come out to show the community that there's a local, growing movement behind RCV. If you'd just like to learn more about RCV, this event will show you a concrete example of how RCV works and how simple it is, with the added bonus of some cookies in the learning process.
It'll be a fun, all-ages event so bring your friends and family along and join us!
