The purpose of research

For this meetup, we are preparing a slightly different format. Instead of presentations, we will engage in discussions on topics related to research. We will touch upon two very fundamental questions and discover if we can find common ground on:

• What is research?
• What should be the purpose of research?

Come prepared for some philosophical enquiries and implications :)
