SHARE #2: Beautiful Data Visualisation in R

SHARE is a type of meetup in which someone talks about a subject or shows us how to do a certain thing. This week we have a workshop to teach you how to do data visualisation in R using ggplot.

Presenting data in a clear and concise way can make the difference between an accepted or rejected article. An article that grabs the attention of the reader, or an article that requires hours of deciphering to extract the main message. Ggplot2 comes to your aid when dealing with categorical data, and not only. With a grammar for representing data, it is a powerful tool for any researcher. In this workshop we will understand the basic concepts that define the ggplot2 grammar through lots of examples and practice. No prior knowledge required. Having a laptop will allow you to play around with the examples provided.
