REAM #34: How Harvard Defined Irreversible Coma

Details

Join us for our morbid edition of our "Book Club for Scientific Articles" meetup. This time we will read and discuss two articles about what it means to be in an irreversible coma. The original one from the 60s is the one that defined what clinical death means. If you are interested in the subject do join, because the articles are short and the discussion is bound to be intersting!

Join our Discord server! We will be sharing links and continuing the discussion there.

Anyone interested is welcome, but we strongly recommend reading the paper because that is the way to get most out of REAM.

The articles:
[1] Harward Medical School, A Definition of Irreversible Coma, 1968
The article can be found here.
[2] Eelco F. M. Wijdicks, How Harvard Defned Irreversible Coma, 2018
The article can be found here.

I'm looking forward to the discussion, see you there!
