Internal luxury...

Take a moment, and ask yourself how you feel in your body?

Notice your breathing, is it fast and shallow, or deep and slow? Notice your shoulders, do you feel tension? How about your thinking, are you overwhelmed with multiple thoughts and worries, or filled with relaxing images and thoughts?

Unfortunately, most people are not experiencing a luxurious sense of calm within. Many people ignore their inner life. Most of us are taught to look outside of ourselves for comfort, love, and peace; however, we can experience a fulfilled and enhanced quality of life that you create from within.

Our retreat will help you safely tune into your inner world and learn the skills to live luxuriously in your body, mind and spirit.

Tina is a somatic therapist and dance/movement therapist with a Buddhist perspective and has been in the field for over 20 years. She emphasizes that most of us are programmed to live in a survival mode in which healing, calm relaxation is impossible.

Akane is a marriage and family therapist and has been helping diverse couples, families and children for 13 years. She emphasizes that people need peace within, peace between, and peace among.

The retreat includes Body awareness- understand holding patterns/armoring in your body, understand how to access your bodies systems to influence and shift patterns to manage and decrease tension in your body.

The retreat incorporates dance/movement therapy and creativity in a collaborative setting to see and be seen. Move the inward experience and let it go through dance and movement.

Visualization, Sound Healing, breathwork will be a large portion of the experience to understand the variations of your body’s frequencies.

Eye Movement Desensitization and reprocessing Resourcing as well as IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback after assessment to determine needs and best practices for each participant.

The goal is to increase body/mind awareness, while learning the skills to manage your internal experience. Hopefully you’ll choose to live luxuriously all the time!

To live within your body more luxuriously I believe that silence deeply enhances your senses. Therefore, this retreat is considered a semi silent in which you listen to your internal process.

You will also be asked to silence your phones! You will reacquaint yourself without technology.
