Knitting Circle
The Resiliency Center Knitting Circle meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. A few months ago, a generous "Yarn Angel" donated a large basket of beautiful yarn to the center as a contribution for the Knitting Circle. In response, the knitting circle has decided to use this yarn to create lap blankets to be given to seniors at a local nursing home. Whether you are an experienced knitter or relatively new to knitting, we invite you to join us in this project as we weave warmth and peace for ourselves and others.

What we're about

Join us for educational programs, poetry readings, support circles, and a variety of opportunities to laugh, play, learn and grow in community with one another. Through the offerings of this Meetup group, members will gain insight into practices that keep us well and resilient, connect with other people devoted to their personal and spiritual growth, and experience directly the benefits of ongoing participation in a supportive community. This Meetup group announces talks on resiliency practices (such as mindfulness, EFT tapping, stress management, and creative expression) and invites members to learn from each other and practitioners in the area. Stay tuned for contemplative and fun offerings that promote resiliency and joy.
