Fox 7 Austin isn’t just a local television station. It’s owned and operated by Fox Corporation, the same company that runs Fox News nationally — the propaganda machine that has become a pillar of support for the Trump regime.
At meetings of #StopTheLiesFoxAustin, ResistAustin (www.resistaustin.us) will convene community members to chart out a strategy of lawful, nonviolent civil resistance against Fox Corporation’s local foothold.
Together, we’ll:
- Examine how Fox 7 Austin connects to Fox Corporation and sustains Trump’s authoritarian project.
- Identify major advertisers who bankroll Fox’s disinformation empire.
- Explore plans for peaceful protest at the Fox News building downtown and other high-visibility actions.
- Build the grassroots foundation for a sustained campaign in Austin to hold Fox accountable.
